Dishonored is a first-person stealth action adventure video game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. 
Set in the fictional industrial city of Dunwall, modeled after Victorian London, Dishonored follows Corvo Attano, 
a legendary bodyguard to the Empress who is framed for her murder and forced to become an assassin to seek revenge on those who conspired against him. 
Attano is aided in his quest by the Outsider, a powerful being who imbues him with magical abilities. 
Several actors provide voice work for the game, including Susan Sarandon, Brad Dourif, Carrie Fisher, and Chloë Grace Moretz.
The game is played from a first-person perspective and allows the player to tackle a series of assassination missions in a variety of ways, with an emphasis on player choice. 
Missions can be tackled by stealth, combat or a combination of both. 
Exploring levels opens new paths and alternatives for accomplishing mission goals, and it is possible to complete all missions and eliminate all of Attano's targets in a non-lethal manner. 
The story and missions are modified based on violent actions, or lack thereof, committed by the player. 
Magical abilities and equipment are designed to be combined to create new and varied effects.....

Can confirm it works perfectly on XP64 - there is also a Nosteam patch of 110mb that you need to DL from their site too (the installation will automatically load their homepage with the link)

I downloaded the game no problem and it plays fine except my saved games do not work when I load them it just starts me from the beginning of the level instead of where my save is any suggestions on how to fix this

I've also had the saving issue and I'm aware that there is a solution for SKIDROW but i haven't seen one for nosTEAM. If someone could find one it would be greatly welcomed. Thanks.

^ The save fix works but i must advise people to not download it when the problem presents mid game but to download from the start as it eliminates any current saves you have. Thanks nosTEAM.

Before install update patch you must rename folder 3DMGAME to RELOADED from :

Windsws XP : C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication Data
Windows Vista - 7 : C:ProgramData

but you must enable Show hidden files and folders from Control Panel to see that folders.

the 111mb update from the site needs only 3 files (the ones that are missing/changed) which are:
in BinariesWin32
steam_rld.ini
Dishonored.exe
steam_api.dll

it's kind of a big waste having to download the entire 111mb just for those

Hint: use md5 crc checksum to find out when they are the same/different

Not worth playing. The thing that screw me up was saving. The saves were all out of order with no date or time only mission name. So, in order to find the save I wanted I usually had to go through 3 to load the right one. Loading times were also HORRIBLE! As were the graphics. Dont know if I am going to try and downlad a different torrent. So disappointed with this one I might just go buy the game. Which, with steam and all the extra bells and whistles is worth it.

Works just fine. I have Vista on a four year old system and put it on the lowest graphics settings - no problem.
Really appreciate the work of nosSTEAM - most of the stuff they do works even on my old machine.
